Prasanna has been playing South Indian Classical (Carnatic) music professionally on the guitar, which is a rare instrument in this genre of music, for over six years.

He has performed extensively all over India and in U.S. and has won several awards. He is also well known in India as a Rock/Jazz-fusion guitarist. In this fifth solo album of his, we present traditional South Indian Classical compositions played on an unmodified electric guitar in his inimitable style.
