Do Knot Disturb (2009)

About this album

Nadeem-Shravan's comeback has their trademark melody merged with trendy singers and sound. The result does seem a bit like kababs topped by Worcestershire sauce but it is strangely not displeasing or raucous. Not that the score is outstanding in any way - which score in a comedy is of late? But Sonu-Anu Sriram's Zulfen khol khal ke and Don't ever leave me (Shaan-Shreya) are typical N-S songs dressed up for 'today' and can be easily hummed despite Zulfen's first line being on the lines of Leke pehla pehla pyar. The composers from the '80s try to infuse a youthful tenor. Let us hope that this is a trailer of better N-S times to come.
