Amitabh Bachchan while doing a stunt for this film had a near fatal accident. But the film was worth the pain as it one of the favourite Bollywood movies and also catapulted him to stardom. Manmohan Desai and Prayag Raj direct this film with the rest of the cast comprising Rati Agnihotri, Rishi Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman. The team of Laxmikant Pyarelal and Anand Bakshi come with stunning songs for the album.
