A.K.C.Natarajan, the great Clarinet maestro is a true chip of the old block. Following the tradition of his father Sri.A.K.Chinnakrishnan, he imbibed his talents in Clarinet. Earlier, he learnt the rudiments of music from Alathur Venkatesa Iyer and Nagaswaram from Illupur Natesa Pillai.

He took up his career as staff artiste in All India Radio. Making his debut into concert performance at Jagannatha Bhaktha Sabha in Madras, he was soon catapulted to fame. He could adapt the instrument to any shade of raga swaroopa and swara with facility.
