Devotional

Devotional music forms one of the main categories of Tamil music. Tamil Nadu is inhabited by people of different religions, sects and cults, which have their own modes of prayer and worship. The Hindu religion is much inspired by devotional music, although the Muslims and Christians have their share of songs also.
