Garba

Garba is a popular form of song, dance and drama in Gujarat that depicts the liveliness, rich tradition and colour of the state. The songs are rendered in honour of Hindu goddess Ambica during Navratri, which comprises of nine nights. Men and women dance at an energetic pace to the rhythmic song synonymous to the tune. With time Garba has also undergone radical change and has become very popular all over the globe. Also the traditional songs are now laced with remix and pop versions, which are well liked.
