Telugu movie industry is based in the state of Andhra Pradesh and is popularly referred as Tollywood. It comes second in rating for producing the most number of films after Bollywood. About 150 Telugu movies are released every year. The first film in Telugu was Bhishma Pratigna made in 1922 by R.S. Prakash. Like any other Indian movie, most of the Telugu movies comes with four or five music soundtracks. A R Rahman, Chakri, Devi Sri Prasad, Harris Jayaraj, Mani Sharma, Keeravani, Vidyasagar, are the recent times composers who are very popular. Ghantasala, S P Balasubramanyam, P Susheela, Jikki , S Janaki and others are popular playback singers.
