Urdu

Urdu is an Indo-Aryan language belonging to the Indo-European family of languages. The language has extreme similarity to Hindi and is spoken in South Asia and many other parts of the world. It has been the preferred language of poetry and over the two decades has build up a rich tradition in diverse poetic genres. 'Ghazal' is the widely used form of subjective poetry and 'Nazm' is the objective kind. Other than the impact of Urdu in music, Hindi Film industry or Bollywood is also prone to the use of Urdu language.
