In this second volume Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia has chosen Raag Hansadhwani with more emphasis on rejuvenation. Originally from the Carnatic tradition of Indian classical music, this melodic structure is equally popular with the north Indian music lovers too. The intrinsic vibrancy of the Raag is exploited to the hilt by the maestro in this album and by the time the album is over one feels full of energy and enthusiasm.
