My Name Is Khan (2010)

About this album

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's inexplicable ebb phase sadly continues. There are heavy but hybridised Sufi overtones, and that along with the average lyrics lead to one track monotonously dovetailing into the next.
Shafqat's Noor-e-Khuda and Rashid Khan's Allah hi reham emerge as tracks that sound nice while they last but fade away from memory by the time the following track ends. The tragedy is not just S-E-L's work but also that this is the first SRK-Kajol film ever with mediocre music.
